Eastern, Central European countries explore integrated air missile defense systems

Air Missile Defense Technology (AMDT) has reported it will gather air missile defense experts from Czech Republic, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands and US in Europe/Africa in Prague to explore the strategies and technologies required to develop capability in national defense, the organization said.

Military forces are looking to combat the complex threats posed by a wide range of missiles and ensure the security of their own territory.

The program features updates on capabilities and requirements from national militaries on their Air Missile Defense programs, challenges associated with developing those programs, as well as the importance of interoperability between nations to ensure a cost efficient and effective Air Missile Defense strategy.
