drupe Mobile raises USD3m investment from Candy Crush founders

drupe Mobile has raised a USD3 million funding round from Canaan Partners Israel and Sweet Capital, founded by the King Digital Entertainment (Candy Crush) founders, the company said.

The drupe app is a people-centric app that works as an overlay layer focused on a user´s contacts, allowing users to drag and drop contacts with one swipe in order to communicate.

drupe Mobile was founded by Barak Witkowski and Assaf Ziv, who bring technological and managerial experience from companies like Modu Mobile, Broadcom Corp. and Intel. The company has previously raised USD1.0 million seed round from Yigal Jacoby, Curios Minds, TMT investments and private investors.
