Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) said it has signed two franchise license agreements to convert two Hoteles Cosmos hotels in BogotÃ¡ into DoubleTree by Hilton properties, marking the entry of the brand into Colombia.
DoubleTree by Hilton BogotÃ¡ Parque 93 and DoubleTree by Hilton BogotÃ¡ Calle 100 are expected to open in December 2015 and February 2016, respectively. Both hotels will be operated by Cosmos Hotels, one of Colombia´s most-recognized hotel brands for over thirty years.
The 132-room Cosmos Insignia Hotel will be converted into a 132-room DoubleTree by Hilton BogotÃ¡ Parque 93, located in the center of BogotÃ¡´s ChicÃ³ neighborhood just minutes away from restaurants, cafÃ©s and bars of Parque 93. The hotel will feature the restaurant Agata, a Lobby Lounge and an executive lounge with Bar.
