Katie Arrington, vice president of sales operations at Dispersive Technologies, Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of the Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA), the company said.
Approximately 250 defense contractors in the Charleston area generate up to 10 percent of the metro economy. The CDCA is an advocacy group for those contractors. It serves as a liaison with area governments, helps the local defense community attract and develop business opportunities, and fosters interaction between defense contractors that leads to better services to defense customers.
Arrington was a CDCA board member from 2011 to 2014, chairing its communicator and philanthropic committees and co-chairing its C5ISR Summit sponsor committee.
