Dispatchers ratify contract extension

United Airlines´ more than 420 dispatchers, represented by the Professional Airline Flight Control Association, have voted by a 91 percent margin to ratify a tentative agreement that will extend their current contract through the end of 2021, the airline said.

United has joint collective bargaining agreements covering the majority of its represented work groups, including pilots, ramp and passenger-service agents, storekeepers, load planners, maintenance and fleet technical instructors, and dispatchers.

United Airlines and United Express operate an average of nearly 5,000 flights a day to 342 airports across six continents. Approximately 84,000 United employees reside in every US state and in countries around the world.
