Digium, Inc., the Asterisk Company, has released its line of next-generation IP phones, the D65, D62 and D60, the company said.
Digium phones are IP handsets engineered to leverage the power of Asterisk, an open source communications software, and Switchvox, Digium´s unified communications (UC) system.
Launching alongside the next-generation Digium IP phones is a new release of Switchvox, version 6.3. New features include multicast audio and call parking enhancements. Multicast audio support enables phones to receive wide-area announcements and pages without consuming additional resources on a Switchvox system.
Digium, Inc. provides Asterisk software, telephony hardware, and on-premises and hosted Switchvox business phone systems that deliver enterprise-class Unified Communications (UC) and UC as a Service (UCaaS) solution.
