DHL eCommerce, a division of the world´s leading logistics company Deutsche Post DHL Group, has announced it has partnered with shipping software provider Easyship to enable e-commerce merchants to offer same-day and next-day shipping to their customers via the DHL Parcel Metro service, the company said.
This partnership uses technology to provide enhanced, affordable shipping solutions to small- and medium-sized merchants. This new capability went live December 17 in Los Angeles, New York City and Chicago for e-commerce merchants, offering affordable on-demand delivery for same-day and next-day shipping.
The partnership with Easyship is a further enhancement that supports Deutsche Post DHL Group´s objective to be the leading global provider in e-commerce logistics. DHL eCommerce was established in 2014 as part of the Group´s growing focus on e-commerce logistics solutions.
