DFW's Orange Wednesday kicks off airport's Thanksgiving travel season

Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport has announced its plans to kick off the Thanksgiving travel season on Orange Wednesday, November 23, by offering a week of free terminal parking, the company said.

The company said the first 1,000 cars that enter through specially marked parking plaza lanes starting on November 23, will be given vouchers for seven days of free terminal parking.

The company said it anticipates approximately two million passengers during the Thanksgiving season (November 18 – November 29, 2016).

Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) Airport handles 64 million customers every year. DFW also serves as a major economic generator for the North Texas region, producing more than USD37 billion in economic impact each year.
