Delta retires Delta-branded snack offerings

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has retired its branded peanuts and pretzels served as a snack in its main cabins and has unveiled its new onboard lineup including Snyder´s of Hanover pretzels, Squirrel honey roasted peanuts and NatureBox apple cinnamon yogurt bars, the company said.

The company said the enhancement will feature larger portions and more variety for customers while supporting Delta´s mission of continuing to invest in the overall on-board experience.

Complimentary snacks will be available in the main cabin on flights over 250 miles. Customers on shorter flights within North America, from 251 to 599 miles, will now receive a choice of Biscoff cookies or Snyder´s of Hanover pretzels, whereas customers were only offered one choice previously.

Delta Air Lines serves nearly 180 million customers each year. Delta and the Delta Connection carriers offer service to 312 destinations in 54 countries on six continents.
