Delta reports 19.4 million customers in July 2019

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has reported it carried 19.4 million customers in July 2019, the company said.

Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in July 2019 were 23,773,181, a 5.2% increase over revenue passenger miles of 22,606,184 in July 2018, the company said. Year-to-date RPMs in 2019 were 138,567,456, compared to 131,287,959 in 2018, an increase of 5.5%.

Available seat miles (ASMs) in July 2019 were 26,412,679, compared to 25,515,414 in July 2018, an increase of 3.5%. Year-to-date available seat miles were 160,590,870 in 2019, compared to 153,482,233 ASMs in 2018, an increase of 4.6%.

The July 2019 load factor was 90%, compared to 88.6% in July 2018, an increase of 1.4 pts. Load factor year-to-date was 86.3%, a 0.8 pts. increase compared to 85.5% in 2018.

Mainline completion factor in July 2019 was 99.54, compared to 99.87, a (0.22) pts. decrease.

Mainline on-time performance in July 2019 was 80.9, compared to 83.4, a decrease of (2.5) pts.

Passengers boarded in July 2019 were 19,443,022, a 6.3% increase compared to 18,296,093 in July 2018. Year-to-date passengers boarded in 2019 were 118,478,399, an increase of 6.1% over 111,617,408 in 2018.
