Delta Private Jets, Inc. (DPJ), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has named Nicholas Portaro vice president of sales, the company said.
Portaro leads DPJ´s sales, pricing, revenue management and product development, and is responsible for providing a travel and brand experience for customers, including access to loyalty programs and exclusive events.
Portaro brings more than 25 years of sales and senior leadership experience, most recently served as vice president of insights for Information Services Group (ISG), where he led global sales teams for ISG´s flagship product and launched a go-to-market strategy for new research solutions for vendors and enterprises.
DPJ, which operates a fleet of more than 70 aircraft, is the only private jet company affiliated with a major commercial airline — an unmatched competitive advantage in a fractured marketplace.
