Delta celebrates 20 years of service to Lima, Peru

Delta has announced it is celebrating its 20th anniversary of service to Lima, Peru, the company said.

During the past two decades, the airline has transported more than 2.7 million customers in and out of the City of Kings using Delta´s extensive network in the US and the world.

Delta operates a non-stop daily flight from Atlanta to Lima in a Boeing 767-400 aircraft, offering 40 seats in Delta One, 28 seats in Delta Comfort+, and 178 seats in Main Cabin.

In 2016, Delta increased its capacity between Lima and Atlanta, using a larger aircraft with more seats to operate the route. The increase not only reflected market momentum and customer preference, but also enhanced Delta´s cargo operations.
