Delta carries 14.7 million passengers in September 2017

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) has reported operating performance for September 2017, the company said.

The company carried 14.7 million passengers across our broad global network in the month.

During the month, Hurricanes Irma and Maria impacted operations across the Caribbean and Southeastern United States. Hurricane Irma significantly impacted operations with 2,200 flights cancelled from September 7-12 at airports in Florida, the Caribbean, and Georgia, including the company´s Atlanta hub.

Delta Air Lines serves more than 180 million customers each year. Headquartered in Atlanta, Delta employs more than 80,000 employees worldwide and operates a mainline fleet of more than 800 aircraft.
