Delta Air Lines has announced it plans to expand service from Detroit to the West Coast with the addition of non-stop flights to Sacramento, the company said.
The flight marks the third nonstop addition announced this year from Detroit to the Western US following San Jose and Honolulu.
Delta will offer the only nonstop service between Delta´s hub at Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport and Sacramento International Airport beginning June 17, providing seamless connections for Delta customers from Sacramento to the East Coast and Europe.
Detroit Metro Airport´s McNamara Terminal, home to Delta´s hub, is the premier connecting facility in the eastern region of the US, offering more than 400 peak day departures throughout the US as well as service to Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
