Delta adds new board member

Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) board of directors has added Jeanne P. Jackson as its newest member, effective immediately, the airline said.

Jackson is senior strategic advisor to the chief executive officer of NIKE, Inc. She currently serves on the boards of directors of McDonald´s Corporation and Kraft Heinz Company.

Jackson served as NIKE´s President, Product and Merchandising from July 2013 until April 2016 and President, Direct to Consumer from 2009 until July 2013. She received a Bachelor´s Degree from the University of Colorado and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.

Delta Air Lines serves nearly 180 million customers each year. Delta and the Delta Connection carriers offer service to 323 destinations in 57 countries on six continents. Headquartered in Atlanta, Delta employs more than 80,000 employees worldwide and operates a mainline fleet of more than 800 aircraft.
