Enterprise Immune System technology provider Darktrace said that year on year bookings growth was 510 percent, with revenue growth of 450 percent, reflecting demand for its unique approach to cyber defense.
The headcount has grown 231 percent, and now stands at close to 200 employees in 18 locations around the world, with new US headquarters in San Francisco and a new office on the Champs-ÃlysÃ©es in Paris.
There have been over 750 installations of the technology to date, with a quarter of these in the financial services industry, including global banks and hedge funds, though companies in all sectors have adopted Darktrace. The Industrial Immune System technology has been taken up by utilities, manufacturing and energy companies, including nuclear and power stations. Over 120 partners have signed up to work with Darktrace all over the world.
Based on mathematics and machine learning developed at the University of Cambridge, Darktrace´s Enterprise Immune System has detected over 5500 serious cyber incidents within users´ networks so far, allowing them to get ahead of potential risk.
