Cricket Wireless adds new countries to international offerings

Cricket Wireless said it is expanding international service by offering calling to nine new countries from the US and unlimited talk and text to and from the US to Canada.

Customers can now reach the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Jamaica, Haiti, or Nicaragua by adding the country of their choice to Cricket´s Smart (USD50) and Pro (USD60) monthly plans.

For an additional USD10 – USD15 per month, the add-ons give consumers a range of mobile-to-mobile and landline calling minutes (depending on the country) plus unlimited text, picture, and video messaging (MMS).

Customers can also stay connected in the US and Canada with unlimited talk and text for one low monthly rate plan charge, all in, taxes and fees included. This enhanced “roundtrip” feature will be automatically included in Cricket´s Smart (USD50) and Pro (USD60) monthly plans with no additional charge or enrollment. Primary usage must still be in the US.
