CREDO to give USD150,000 to progressive nonprofits

Mobile carrier CREDO will donate more than USD150,000 to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Demos, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), the company said.

Throughout January, CREDO invites its members and the public to vote on the distribution of funds at CREDO Donations.

Demos is a public policy organization dedicated to ensuring that people of all backgrounds have an equal say in our democracy and an equal chance in our economy.

EFF was founded in 1990 to protect the rights of technology users.

Founded in 1985, CREDO gives individuals the power to make positive social change every day. Whenever members use a CREDO product or service, they generate critical donations for progressive causes (at no extra cost) and fund vital activism work. Since 1985, CREDO has donated over USD81 million to progressive nonprofits, and the company has built a network of over 4 million activists.
