Cox Enterprises donates USD 50,000 to South Georgia tornado victims

Cox Enterprises, in partnership with The James M. Cox Foundation, has donated USD 50,000 to the American Red Cross to assist the relief and recovery efforts of the communities affected by the recent tornadoes in South Georgia, the company said.

The National Weather Service confirmed more than 24 tornadoes in the area, which left a path of destruction.

Cox Enterprises is Georgia´s largest private company and has operations in Atlanta, Athens and Middle Georgia. The company also recently completed construction of its Golden Isles Conservation Center, which is in Southeast Georgia.

Cox Enterprises is a communications, media and automotive services company, with revenues of USD 18bn and approximately 60,000 employees.
