Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) has reported its operating results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended July 31, 2017, the company said.
The company also announced financial targets for its 2018 fiscal year.
Net sales for the three months ended July 31, 2017 were USD 147.8 million as compared to USD 152.4 million for the three months ended July 31, 2016.
Comtech achieved a company-wide book-to-bill ratio (a measure defined as bookings divided by net sales) of 0.90. As of July 31, 2017, the company had backlog of USD 446.2 million.
Net sales for the fiscal year ended July 31, 2017 were USD 550.4 million as compared to USD 411.0 million for the fiscal year ended July 31, 2016. The year-over-year increase in net sales reflects a full year of TCS operations, which contributed incremental net sales of USD 147.1 million for fiscal 2017.
