CommScope earns awards for innovation and legacy of service

CommScope has received three different honors for innovative solutions and two team members´ legacy of service to the broadband community, the company said.

Jim Hughes, CommScope´s vice president of multi-system operator sales, was named into the SCTE•ISBE Hall of Fame. He has served on both the SCTE•ISBE and SCTE•ISBE Foundation boards, as a member of the executive committee and chair on the nominations and governance committees.

CommScope´s Chris Ewing was named to the 2018 class of Cable TV Pioneers.

Broadband Technology Report will name its Diamond Review winners in Atlanta, including CommScope´s UDS (ultra-density splice) panels. Honored for the innovative nature of the solution by cable telecommunications and engineering experts, these new panels provide extreme port density in a modular, compact design that helps transition to high fiber counts. CommScope received a “high score” award from the publication.
