Comcast reports Q2 2018 results

Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCSA) has reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2018, the company said.

Consolidated Revenue for the second quarter of 2018 increased 2.1% to USD 21.7 billion. Consolidated Net Income Attributable to Comcast increased 27.6% to USD 3.2 billion. Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA increased 4.8% to USD 7.4 billion.

For the six months ended June 30, 2018, consolidated revenue increased 6.3% to USD 44.5 billion compared to 2017. Consolidated net income attributable to Comcast increased 24.3% to USD 6.3 billion. Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA increased 4.1% to USD 14.7 billion.

Earnings per Share (EPS) for the second quarter of 2018 was USD 0.69, an increase of 32.7% compared to the second quarter of 2017. On an adjusted basis, EPS increased 25.0% to USD 0.65 (see Table 4).

For the six months ended June 30, 2018, EPS was USD 1.36, a 28.3% increase compared to the prior year. On an adjusted basis, EPS increased 20.0% to USD 1.26 (see Table 4).
