Collins Aerospace supports corporate responsibility with USD 3.6m commitment to FIRST

Collins Aerospace Systems has announced that, as part of its new Redefining Futures Corporate Social Responsibility program, it has committed USD 3.6 million over three years to FIRST, a nonprofit serving youth and advancing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education, the company said.

A 20-percent increase in Collins Aerospace´s investment in the FIRST program from previous years, the additional funding will help introduce even more kids around the world to the opportunities available through FIRST.

The investment in the FIRST program kicks off Collins Aerospace´s Redefining Futures platform. Through intentional efforts to address some of the most pressing issues in the industry and society, the company will focus on three main strategies:
