CloudConnect, a provider of Cloud Infrastructure technology and application delivery, has released version 3.6 of its DesktopConfig, the company said.
The release of DesktopConfig 3.6 includes many updates and additions, including compatibility with Citrix XenApp and Adaptive Transport.
DesktopConfig manages lifecycle management and provides tight integration with Microsoft Windows, augmenting Citrix to include items such as common bug fixes, workarounds, and reliability of the Current Release XenApp track.
Adaptive Transport is available for new and existing Citrix deployments on the CloudConnect platform. The result is that applications running on CloudConnect are faster and more scalable, improving the end-user experience by enhancing application interactivity.
The CloudConnect platform enables businesses and software developers to easily run Windows and Linux based applications in the cloud without altering the source code or business workflow.
