Cloud-centric solution for voice platform increases

Alianza and Level 3 communications (NYSE: LVLT) have released a study that found 77 percent of service providers would consider a cloud for voice platform with CVP as a solution to challenges in the voice communication space, the company said.

The study, “Migrating Service Provider Voice Infrastructure to the Cloud,” found the ongoing erosion of traditional TDM models is driving communications service providers (CSPs) to adopt new voice strategies that address cost structure, system architecture and service delivery.

A key conclusion from the study is that CSPs will embrace cloud solutions for infrastructure and are receptive to the new CVP solution for voice platform evolution.
