Clear launches at Los Angeles International Airport

Clear, a biometric platform company, is now open for business at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the company said.

Clear will be available in all terminals at LAX, speeding travelers through security with just the touch of a finger or blink of an eye. The expanding network of touch points powered by Clear delivers fast, secure, seamless customer experiences in and out of the airport, and the launch at LAX expands Clear´s nationwide footprint to 22 airports and six stadiums nationwide.

A key component of the Clear value proposition is the hospitality-trained team members deployed to help get members through security quickly and effortlessly. Clear brought nearly 90 new jobs to LAX and was recently recognized by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and the Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee for its success in building a diverse and inclusive workforce of Clear ambassadors at LAX.

Clear is trusted by over one million members and is certified as a Qualified Anti-terrorism Technology by the US Department of Homeland Security. Clear´s three-step sign-up process takes less than five minutes — Clear digitally authenticates your driver´s license or passport, confirms your identity, and then creates your biometric account.
