Cirrus single-engine jet achieves FAA certification

Cirrus Aircraft has received FAA certification for its single engine personal jet, Cirrus Vision jet, the company said.

The Vision Jet can accommodate up to five adults and two children, and delivers a wide array of global navigation capabilities and safety features to the pilot. Powering the Flight-Into-Known-Ice (FIKI) approved Vision Jet is a single, smart FADEC-controlled Williams International FJ33-5A turbofan engine.

Cirrus Aircraft is a general aviation company with a fleet of SR-series personal aircraft that surpassed seven million flight hours. Cirrus aircraft are made in the US and the company is wholly owned by China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Co., Ltd (CAIGA).
