Cirrus Aircraft announces record year for 2016

Cirrus Aircraft has reported that new customer aircraft deliveries of its SR line of aircraft reached a recent multi-year high of 317 units for 2016, the company said.

The company also announced initial customer deliveries of its single-engine personal jet, the Cirrus Vision Jet; 3 units were delivered to customers in the US.

This is the third consecutive year that Cirrus has delivered more than 300 units. The company now has a global fleet of more than 6,500 SR series aircraft in over 60 countries.

Also in 2016, Cirrus launched the all new G6 SR22T, SR22 and SR20 product line, opened its Aircraft Customer Experience Center in Knoxville, TN, and expanded Duluth manufacturing operations.
