Cimphoni names new chief innovation officer

Cimphoni has expanded its technology consulting team with the addition of Sania Irwin, PhD, as chief innovation officer, the company said.

In this role, she is responsible for establishing business solutions focused on the Internet of Things (IoT), big data and analytics and cognitive systems.

Previously, Dr. Irwin served in several technology leadership roles at Motorola/ Nokia Networks where she generated the vision, blueprint and collaterals. She has experience in creating products and solutions for the wireless market, in the space of IoT, applications, experience management, self-organizing networks and location awareness.

Cimphoni is comprised of three entities: Cimphoni Consulting, leveraging technology to achieve business transformation, Cimphoni Solutions focusing on innovation driven by the IoT and Cimphoni Life Sciences, creating new medical devices and solutions.
