Chromalloy has formed a new Strategic Business Unit – Asset Management Services, and has appointed experienced industry executive Jim Guiliano to lead the new aircraft engine trading, exchange, overhaul, and leasing enterprise.
Asset Management Services will encompass the existing Chromalloy Material Solutions business while adding a wide range of services which include an investment and trading platform, pooling and leasing platform and commercial and technical advisory services. The product range will include mid-life and mature engine and aircraft families.
Before joining Chromalloy, Guiliano was the Executive Vice President of International Aero Engines (IAE), a role in which he led the company as the senior Pratt & Whitney executive. Prior to that, he held senior roles within Pratt & Whitney, including Vice President, Global Customer Service & Service Programs and Vice President of Pratt & Whitney´s USD2B Global Engine Maintenance Center organization. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the US Naval Academy and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Chromalloy has expanded from a gas turbine parts repair business into an OEM supplier of production parts and advanced repairs and services for gas turbines used in aviation and land-based applications. Chromalloy serves the airline, military, marine and energy segments with a broad range of services at locations around the globe. Chromalloy is authorized by the FAA and EASA and many other NAAs, and is qualified under ISO and NADCAP.
