Cheetah Mobile announces Live.me in India

Cheetah Mobile Inc., the mobile utility and content app developer, has rolled out Live.me, a live broadcasting platform, the company said.

Live.me provides a unique experience to Indian users with strong localization both in features and access to their favourite social influencers. Live.me comes to India after creating waves in the United States where it is ranked #1 under the social app category for the region on Google Play and top 3 on the App store. Live.me has found similar success in markets like Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Middle East.

Live.me is a live broadcasting app that allows users to interact with other users and social influencers ´live´. The app provides video-broadcasting features with interactive stickers with face-mapping technology that allows the user to interact with the audience in creative ways. Users can purchase digital “gifts” like emoji for their favorite live creators. Social media integrations allow users to share their favorite broadcasts to their friends across the most popular social apps.
