Chase, UATP collaborate to make it easy for airlines to accept Chase Pay

Airline-owned payment network UATP has announced it has partnered with Chase to enable a network-wide connection that would make it easier for airlines to accept Chase Pay as a payment and checkout option in their own apps and websites, the company said.

Chase is the leading card issuer in the country and has relationships with half of all households in the US.

Chase Pay is a mobile app and digital engagement platform for all Chase customers with an eligible personal Chase Visa debit or credit card that allows them to pay online, in app and at merchant locations, quickly, easily and securely.

UATP connects airlines to Alternative Forms of Payment, which can expand reach and generate incremental sales globally. UATP offers easy-to-use data tools, DataStreamSM and DataMineSM, which provide comprehensive account details to issuers and Corporate Subscribers for accurate travel management.

Chase is the US consumer and commercial banking business of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), a leading global financial services firm with assets of USD 2.6 trillion and operations worldwide.
