The Channel Company has named Bob Skelley, a former channel chief of several high-profile companies, as vice president and managing director, services and product development, the company said.
As leader of the company´s managed marketing services (MMS) group, Skelley will oversee demand generation and marketing services that drive revenue for both IT solution providers and vendors.
Skelley previously served as global vice president, channel strategy and operations for EqualLogic until it was acquired by Dell Computer in 2008, then stayed on after the acquisition as Dell´s executive director of North American Channel sales.
In his new role, Skelley will focus on strengthening Channel Company´s relationships with both the solution provider and vendor communities, while increasing the measurable ROI that both sides generate from the MMS group´s marketing services.
