Change Healthcare Holdings, Inc. reported first quarter solutions revenue was USD311.5 million, an increase of 20.5 percent, compared to USD258.4 million for the same period in 2015, the company said.
This increase in solutions revenue as compared to the prior year period was primarily due to recently acquired solutions, including Altegra Health, and continued volume gains in network solutions as a result of increases in the number of insured lives of customers from the ongoing expansion of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and federal and state exchanges.
First quarter net loss was USD15.5 million compared to USD5.7 million for the same period in 2015. Net loss was primarily impacted by increased amortization and interest expense as a result of the Altegra Health acquisition and related financing.
