Cavium accelerates Telco NFV & Cloud workloads

Cavium, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAVM), a provider of products that enable intelligent and secure processing for enterprise and cloud data centers, has launched its FastLinQ 45000 Series 25/100Gb Ethernet Adapter technology that delivers a breakthrough performance of up to 200Gbps throughput is completely integrated into Data Plan Development Kit (DPDK), the company said.

Cavium FastLinQ technology can now host the most demanding Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and cloud workloads while reducing deployment costs.

With up to 200Gbps of Ethernet line rate throughput, the FastLinQ 45000 series 25/100Gb Ethernet Adapters offer an extremely expansive set of features and protocols.
