Caverton Helicopters expands fleet with 8 new Bell Helicopters

Caverton Helicopters Limited, a subsidiary of The Caverton Offshore Support Group Plc announced that the company has entered a purchase agreement with Dallas based Bell Helicopter for eight brand new Bell 407GXPs, the company said.

The addition to Caverton Helicopter´s growing fleet of helicopters, marks a milestone in the company´s long-term fleet development plan across a diverse range of industries and will be deployed throughout the company´s West African operations.

Delivery of the helicopters on order will commence in the 4th quarter of 2017 and continue into 2018.

Caverton Offshore Support Group Plc is a fully indigenous company listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Founded in 1993, the company provides marine and aviation logistics services for the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. The company offers offshore and onshore logistics services through helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft; private charter services for air tours and aerial photography; maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for helicopters; and executive ground handling services for helicopter and private jets.

Caverton Helicopters is a subsidiary of The Caverton Offshore Support Group and operates out of a 10,000 square meter flight facility at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos and several purpose-built facilities in Victoria Island, Port Harcourt, Warri and Cameroon.
