Certified Aviation Services, LLC (CAS) has completed a part-out and teardown of an MD11 in Asia, the company said.
The team removed 400 high-value line items for their customer.
CAS Go-Team was responsible for the teardown of the aircraft and CAS Components was responsible for the tagging and packaging. The items were shipped to the component repair shop located in Fairhope, Alabama, for disposition.
CAS utilized the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA) Best Management Practice (BMP) guide 3.2, to complete the disassembly and recycling of the aircraft. The combination of both teams allowed CAS to provide the most effective and efficient full-service for its customer.
