Carlisle Construction Materials, an operating segment of Carlisle Companies Inc. (NYSE: CSL), a provider of commercial and industrial building envelope products, has announced it has agreed to acquire metal roofing products manufacturer Petersen Aluminum Corp. for USD 197m, the company said.
Upon completion of the transaction, the business will be reported as part of the CCM segment.
Carlisle said the acquisition of Petersen is part of the company´s strategy of providing customers with a portfolio of high quality, innovative products and solutions that meet an increasing array of building envelope needs. Petersen further broadens the company´s scale and geographic penetration of the attractive and fast growing regions of Texas, Arizona, Georgia and the Midwest as the company continues to execute on its metal roofing growth strategy.
