Vancouver International Airport (YVR) has received CAPA Centre for Aviation´s Airport of the Year Award given to the airport that has been a strategic leader and has done the most to advance the progress of the aviation industry globally, the company said.
The company said the recognition enables innovation and the pursuit of excellence in sustainability, governance and overall airport operations.
CAPA Centre for Aviation is a provider of independent aviation market intelligence, analysis and data services. Candidates for the Aviation Awards for Excellence are shortlisted by the CAPA team of analysts and aviation partners, and then reviewed by a panel of judges.
Vancouver Airport Authority is a community based, not-for-profit organization that manages Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Fifty-five airlines serve YVR, connecting people and businesses to more than 120 non-stop destinations worldwide.
