Jet Aviation Basel said it has selected the Cairâ„¢ humidification system by CTT Systems (STO:CTT) for installation in three VIP private business jets: a BBJ3, an A330-200 and an A319 aircraft.
Jet Aviation Basel is a completions and maintenance center employing more than 1,600 professionals. The facility has in-house design and engineering departments, along with on-site cabinetry, upholstery, sheet metal, composite and paint shops.
The organization is capable of outfitting jets as large as an Airbus A380 or the Boeing 747-8 series and has already completed numerous Airbus ACJ319, ACJ320, ACJ330, ACJ340 and Boeing B737, B757 and B747-400 aircraft.
Jet Aviation Basel also provides aircraft maintenance and repair services for a wide variety of business jets. It is a factory approved service center by Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, Embraer and Gulfstream.
Cairâ„¢ is the leading cabin humidification system maintaining the relative humidity above 20 percent without causing condensation. The cabin air in First Class is normally extremely dry (3-5 percent). Cairâ„¢ increases passenger well-being by reducing dry air-related problems (e.g. fatigue, jet-lag, red eyes, dry skin, spread of virus diseases). The dual-purpose system increases humidity for greater comfort and the anti-condensation Zonal Dryingâ„¢ System prevents condensation from actively humidifying the cabin air.
