CAE (NYSE:CAE)(TSX:CAE) reported revenue of USD616.3 million for the third quarter of fiscal year 2016, representing a 10 percent increase over the third quarter last year.
Third quarter net income attributable to equity holders from continuing operations was USD57.9 million (USD0.21 per share) vs. USD52.1 million (USD0.20 per share) last year.
Third quarter net income before specific items(4) was USD59.4 million (USD0.22 per share), up 14 percent from the same period last year. Specific items this quarter include restructuring costs of USD1.5 million (net after-tax) related to CAE´s ongoing process improvement program. All financial information is in Canadian dollars.
Third quarter Civil revenue was USD334.7 million, up 4 percent compared to the same quarter last year. Year-to-date revenue was USD1,036.1 million, up 12 percent over the same period last year.
