Cable ONE Business has expanded its nationwide network with the launch of a new Point of Presence (POP) in the Equinix Data Center, located inside the Westin Building Exchange in Seattle, Washington, the company said.
This is Cable ONE´s first POP in the state.
Seattle is home to a well-established tech market that´s fostering growth with large companies and new start-ups alike. The city features a dense concentration of network, cloud and IT service providers, and is one of the largest network traffic routes in the country.
The new POP will allow Westin Building Exchange tenants the opportunity to exchange IP traffic with Cable ONE´s nationwide network. It also provides access to Cable ONE´s extensive IP network through 10GE (10 Gigabit Ethernet) and GigE (1 Gigabit Ethernet) ports, and as a result, both new and existing customers will be able to experience increased throughput, reduced latency and improved reliability.
Cable ONE Business now has POPs in eight major metropolitan cities, including Seattle, Boise, Phoenix, Kansas City, Dallas, Corpus Christi, Chicago and Atlanta.
Cable ONE Business helps businesses of all sizes increase productivity by providing superior communications solutions at an affordable price, and backing those solutions with the highest level of customer service and support.
