Bombardier, airBaltic kick off CS300 European route-proving tour

Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has launched its second CS300 flight text vehicle, CS300 jetliner, on European and Middle Eastern route-proving flights alongside airBaltic of Latvia, the company said.

The company said the flights, which will operate from the airline´s base in Riga, include stops in Vilnius, Lithuania, Tallinn, Estonia and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and will use airBaltic air and ground operational practices.

Bombardier said it has a firm order for 20 CS3000 airliners, which will join airBaltic´s 12 Q400 turboprops, allowing the airline to transition to an all-Bombardier fleet.

Bombardier is a manufacturer of both planes and trains. Bombardier is headquartered in Montréal, Canada.
