Bohai Leasing acquires Avolon Holdings

Bohai Leasing has completed its acquisition of Avolon Holdings, the company said.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Bohai, Avolon will be combined with Bohai´s existing aircraft leasing businesses.

Bohai is the only listed leasing company on the Chinese A-Share stock market and is majority owned by HNA Group, a Fortune 500 company with global interests in a range of sectors including aviation, leasing, logistics, tourism and transportation.

Bravia Capital and UBS Investment Bank served as financial advisors to Bohai, and Sidley Austin LLP served as Bohai´s legal counsel. J.P. Morgan Limited and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are serving as financial advisors to Avolon and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP is serving as Avolon´s legal counsel.
