Boeing has targeted the Latin American market, particularly carriers in Argentina and Mexico for sales of new wide body aircraft, the company said.
The company said Mexico has a relatively strong economy, and Mexican carriers are forming closer ties with foreign airlines.
Boeing said there are sales opportunities in Argentina, particularly to Aerolineas Argentinas. The airline will have several Airbus340s coming off leases in 2018 and will need to replace those aircraft.
