Boeing reports Q2 2018 revenue of USD 24.3bn

Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) has reported second quarter 2018 revenue of USD 24,258bn, compared to USD 23,051 in the same quarter of 2017, representing an increase of 5.0%, the company said.

The company reported a 7% increase in earnings from operations in the second quarter 2018 with earrings at USD 2.710m, compared to USD 2.530m.

Net earnings reported were USD 2.196m, compared to USD 1.749 in the second quarter 2017, a 26% increase.

The company´s revenue guidance increased USD 1 billion to between USD 97.0 and USD 99.0 billion, driven by defense volume and services growth. Commercial Airplanes margin guidance is increased to greater than 11.5% on strong performance and Defense, Space & Security margin guidance was adjusted to reflect the impact of cost growth on the KC-46 Tanker program.
