BOC Aviation has announced it has signed an agreement with Boeing to acquire 11 additional 737 Max aircraft, the company said.
The jet aircraft are scheduled to deliver in 2019 and 2020.
BOC has also entered into long-term leases with an undisclosed airline for two of the jets. For the remaining nine aircraft, the airline has the option to either secure them on long-term leases from BOC Aviation, or to purchase them at the time of delivery.
Prior to the order, BOC Aviation owned two 737 Max in its portfolio.
BOC Aviation is a global aircraft operating leasing company and the largest aircraft operating leasing company headquartered in Asia.
