BOC Aviation has selected the V2500 engine to power five firm Airbus A320ceo family aircraft, the company said.
The V2500 engine is offered through IAE International Aero Engines AG, a multinational aero engine consortium whose shareholders comprise Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corporation (NYSE: UTX); Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International GmbH; Japanese Aero Engines Corporation and MTU Aero Engines GmbH.
BOC Aviation is a global aircraft operating leasing company with a fleet of 483 aircraft owned, managed or on order. Its owned and managed fleet was leased to 64 airlines worldwide in 31 countries as of 30 June 2016.
Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units.
