Rockwood portfolio company BJG Electronics, Inc. (BJG), has announced the acquisition of Whitmor/Wirenetics, the company said.
Headquartered in Valencia, California, Whitmor/Wirenetics has been a provider of high-performance wire, cable and tubing to the military, aerospace and satellite industries for more than 50 years.
This is the second addition to the BJG Electronics Group this year. In April, the company acquired Connector Tech LLC, a Montana-based value-added distributor of high-reliability electronic interconnect products.
The wide-ranging, combined product and service set offered by the BJG Electronics Group of companies is expected to deliver customer value by providing best-choice solutions. BJG´s large supplier community also is expected to benefit from the platform provided by the combined BJG inventory and infrastructure.
Based in Ronkonkoma, NY, BJG Electronics is a global supplier of interconnect and electromechanical products to the world´s OEMs in the defense, commercial aviation, business aviation, space, oil and gas, and industrial markets.
