Phillips Service Industries subsidiary Beaver Aerospace & Defense, Inc. has announced two new contracts with Parker Aerospace, a business segment of Parker Hannifin Corp. (NYSE: PH) and leader in the design, manufacture and service of flight control systems and other aerospace systems and components.
According to the contracts, Beaver will supply horizontal stabilizer ball screw assemblies for the Bombardier Global 7000 and Bombardier Global 8000 ultra-long-range jets. Beaver will utilize high-strength stainless steel for the ball screw and ball nut to minimize corrosion as an alternative to chrome plating.
